Well that sure looks like what the coalition has tried to kickstart with their ousting of Saddam's regime.

Another interesting development is the apparent success of the Miniature Magnetic Orion, or "Mini Mag Orion", which uses magnetic fields to compress a small amount of fissile material in order to provide a (small) nuclear explosion. This provides a much smaller and more manageable thrust than conventional nuclear bombs would. Nice idea!
